bipolarhappens.com blog reader comments

wow! I am reading some great comments on this blog. If you look at an entry- there is a small comments button on the top. If there is a number next to it, there are comments.

I am not able to answer them as I would like. I will try to get to them though! It’s great to interact with readers.

I was in a severe depression two days ago and I am fine today. The ups and downs of bipolar are hard to take, but we can manage them.  Thanks for your comments. I am not sure if it’s clear, but this blog is attached to bipolarhappens.com -  Many people enter from that page.

I recommend blogs. They let you get your ideas out there and then you can see what others think. It’s easy and free to start on blog on wordpress.com.

Definitely let me know if you start one!

 Julie

Hi Julie, just wanted to say that I check your blog everyday. Even though I don’t know you personally, I feel you are there giving me support, advice and I can so relate to what you share. I have all your books and the health cards and subscribe to BP magazine. Thank you so much for your hard work and for sharing your life experience, it helps more than you know!

Hi Julie! I check your blog so often that it’s an icon on my desktop. I have a blog over at livejournal.com. I was born and raised in Portland, lived in South Bend, Indiana, for a couple of years (where I met my great friend Tiffany who met you at the NAMI conference), then my husband and I moved back to portland for a couple years, and now we’re living in Newport. His job in radio takes him to alot of places. Anyway, I miss Portland so much, and the fact that you live there makes reading your work extra special to me.
Sorry this comment turned out to be so long!

I also check your blog every day! I’ve never commented, though I wanted to, mostly because I figured you would be far too busy to actually read these.

I was just recently hospitalized for rapid cycling for about three weeks that escalated to overdosing. During my stay in the hospital I took the time to make lists of my triggers, symptoms and ways people around me can help me when having an episode, all from reading your book Loving Someone With Bipolar Disorder. I really feel like reading this book will save my relationship. Julie, thank you!
