DBSA.. Julie Fast Podcast interview: Families and Bipolar Disorder

I’m speaking at the Depression Bipolar Support Alliance in September, 2008. I really look forward to it.

My presentation is on Families and Mood Disorders. The three hour program is filled with personal stories and tips on managing the illness as a team.

I recently did a DBSA podcast interview on the topic.  Don’t worry! The podcast isn’t three hours. ;)

I think you will enjoy it!

Depending on your computer system, you can either listen directly from this blog, or you may have to download the podcast to your computer. This is a MP3 file that’s easy to download and then play. You can then put the file on your IPOD.

Let me know what you think!

  1. Julie! I am so glad to discover you and your outreach…your fabulous system of teaching.

My husband is bipolar and I’ve just begun a bipolar-related website at http://www.enjoyingyourhealth.com, where I am delivering the hopeful message you, yourself, put out to the bipolar community: there is a Big Hope for managing bipolar.

Please, please let me collaborate with you and be one of your affiliates. The things you say ring absolutely true with me.

    Warmly,

    Dianne

    Hi Julie,

I regularly read you blog, checking in several times a day. When I read your biography I noticed that you had problems holding down a job. I’m Bipolar 1 and have this problem. My wife totally does not understand why I have work problems. She says “you just never like any job you have.” It would be great is you could make some comments about this problem in your presentation. Thanks.
