I make a vow to go to bed feeling much better than I woke up- and in order to do this I am going to complete a set number of items that will improve my day.
That is how I work through the tough times!

Hey Julie!
It’s been awhile since I wrote. I can’t remember if it was since my hospitalization in Jan & Feb or not. I was in for 9 days – it started as depression but by the time I got out I was getting manic and that’s where I’ve stayed. My question is how do you give up the mania? I feel like I’m chasing the manic high and can’t get off the roller coaster. I’m not committed to taking my meds and have to be monitored by my family. I am incredibly hypersexual and I’m dancing with the devil on that one. Please address this issue it’s quite pressing for me.

I write in my journal every morning about what needs to get done today, and then what I would like to get done. In the evening I look to see if I did even one of them, and feel so good to see an accomplishment. Action is the enemy of depression. 🙂
