Bipolar Happens!  35 Tips and  Tricks to Manage Bipolar Disorder is the first book I ever wrote. I was so excited. Finally, I was well enough to write. I’d tried to write a book for many years, but something always got in the way. That ‘something’ was usually bipolar.

When I started using my Health Cards Treatment System for Bipolar Disorder, my life changed- I could work again. I could write.

The result was Bipolar Happens! 35 Tips and Tricks to Manage Bipolar Disoder:  I know that many of you have read it as it has sold thousands of copies all over the world.

It’s soon going to be available on Kindle.

In the spirit of this wonderful, new technology. I’m looking for 35 people to test the product. This of course means you need a Kindle!  If you’re interested, click on the comments button below and send me your contact information.  Those who reply before next Saturday, May 21st.  will  be entered into a contest to win all of my bestselling  books. In return, I ask for any suggestions on content, formatting and a testimonial/review of the book to put on amazon.com.

Please note that by sending me a message through comments, it will not be on the blog.

Here are the books in the contest: These are the hard cover copies and will be mailed to your home. Great!

Good luck!

Julie

Please forward this to anyone you know who has a Kindle. They don’t have to be related to bipolar.

PPS: or PSS.  Not sure which one to use! I’ve had 20 people respond so far, so there are 15 spaces left!

I posted a long comment and not sure it sent properly and it disappeared. If this is duplicate, please delete it.
I purchased an early version of your Bipolar Happens book in PDF form and it and the health cards have been really useful. I had not heard anyone else’s experience with bipolar and I found myself relating to your experiences. I belong to a support group called Daily Strength and I put a link to your page in their resource section and often refer members to your site. Thanks for all you do to provide tools and support to manage this disorder!

    • Hi Bob,

I didn’t receive your first comment. Feel free to post it again- that is if you have it saved somewhere! It’s so frustrating to write something and then suddenly it disappears.

Thank you so much for your support of my work. It is truly appreciated. You can also send me more information about Daily Strength and I can post the information. Julie

I have Kindle on my iphone and am able to purchase from the Kindle store…I hope that counts!

My boyfriend of a year was diagnosed with bipolar about 9 years ago. I moved in with him six months ago and boy has it been a tough ride! He always told me that he has his moods, but never fully explained that he is bipolar and what that means. I started researching and this led me to your book Loving Someone with Bipolar…great read. Armed with knowledge, I’ve been able to open the lines of communication with him about how we can try to have a great relationship and deal with this together. I look forward to reading more of your books and would like to try your health cards in the near future. We need all the tips and tricks we can get our hands on 🙂

    Thank you.

(Please do not use my real name on your website. Thank you 🙂 )

  • I just read your new blog and Julie, I am not Bipolar but lived with my ex husband who is for twenty years and have four grown older children who have BP. On reading your blog and the different sleep disorders I read Chronic Insomnia and did that ever hit home for me. I’m up sometimes until five or six.sometimes three, four, and am in the later now. It is miserable as you know. I can’t take the sleep meds I have been given. I’m seventy and so very sensitive to meds. I’ve had this for years and years. I worked twelve hour days for seven years until there was just nothing left of me. At that point I was diagnosed with Fibro/Chronic Fatigue. That was elevin years ago and I’m still having the sleep insomnia. Thank you so much for your help with knowing what’s wrong with me. I really hesitate to ask but if you have any answers please let me know. Thank you so much and God Bless You and Your Work. Christie

    • Hi Christie,

I have friends with chronic insomnia- the best thing I know to do is to get a sleep study done. You call any hospital/clinic and ask about their studies. I am not sure about insurance- but there may be some no cost ones if a person is doing research. There is no reason to live with insomnia. It’s very uncomfortable and can really mess up your day.

Also, if you have not tried a naturopath, they often have a different approach to sleep issues.

      Keep me posted! julie
